EXHIBITIONS

Like many other artists, I regard my viewer as a co-author on whose individual features depend the significance and scale of my work. That is why I am very keen on information about viewers’ reaction to my works.

Anatoly Gitberg​

1972 – Anatoly Gitberg’s solo exhibition of paintings. 14–23 November 1972. House of Culture of the Kurchatov Institute of Atomic Energy, Moscow.

1974 – Anatoly Gitberg’s solo exhibition of paintings. 21–27 May. House of Scientists, Science Centre of the USSR Academy of Sciences, Krasnaya Pakhra, Moscow Region.

1980 – zonal exhibition at the Central Exhibition Hall Manege. On show were mockups for the interior design of the Regimental Club of the Kremlin Regiment. The Arsenal, Kremlin, Moscow.

1983 – Solo exhibition “Anatoly Gitberg. 1926–1983. Decorative and Applied Art, Paintings, Graphic Works”. 17 June – 8 July 1983. Exhibition hall of the Moscow branch of the Union of Artists of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic (#7/9 Begovaya St.), Moscow. Organized by Emilya Glaskova, the artist’s widow.

2001 – solo exhibition for the artist’s 75th birth anniversary. Exhibition hall of the Moscow Union of Artists (#20 Kusnetsky most St.), Moscow. Organized by Emilya Glaskova, the artist’s widow.

1992–2016 – annual one-day exhibitions of paintings and graphic works held on Anatoly Gitberg’s birth anniversary, 31 May. Creativity club at the Art Design Guild of the Moscow Union of Artists (#2 Starokonyushenny Lane bldg. 1), Moscow. Organized by Emilya Glaskova, the artist’s widow.

2016 – solo exhibition at the exhibition hall of the Kalina Country complex, June 2016, Chimki, Moscow Region. Organized by Darya Novitskaya, the artist’s grand-daughter.
